Assam Brown Travelers' Notebooks--Multiple Sizes Ready To Ship!
This is our newest, maddest, crazy leather! It's a ginger brown, heavily waxed, seriously distressed crazed pull up leather. Squish it, scratch it, ding it and squash it, and watch the crackle patterns develop. If you like tidy, this is not for you, it's seriously wild. We called it Assam Brown because I tend to make tea so strong it will dissolve teaspoons and is pretty much the same colour as this leather, so Assam it was :)
The leather is firm-ish, but soft and pliable enough to roll up and squish so it's not horribly floppy. And did we mention it's mad and fabulous? Some of the pics show it well squashed to bring out the patterns, others show the leather looking a bit more conservative, so you get a good idea what it's like.

- All sizes have 2 deckled edge wibbly pockets (or occasionally, a straight pocket when we ran out of deckles). They are all different and may not be the same as the ones pictured. The A5 version with three pockets has, well, three pockets instead!
- Four elastics and elastic closure.
- All sizes will fit four softback notebooks--they are all generously sized with 4cm / 1.5 inch spine, so lots of room!
- Each cover ships with a fountain pen friendly cream dot grid Clairefontaine insert to get you going!
These covers are great for mostly conservative blokes* but for those of us of an outrageous persuasion, they bling up really well with a nice charm of three and some really colourful inserts (we can help with that too). Sadly, the little sparkly charms in the pics aren't included, and neither are the other props...but half the fun of journals is that you get to go and find your own!
*Translation: blokes = men. I thought this was a worldwide term but apparently it isn't. Who knew!?
