A5 Kokeshi Doll with Kintsugi Heart--Ready to Ship!

Kokeshi dolls are fascinating, because they are so simple and so expressive. This little one is holding a mended heart, repaired kintsuge fashion with gold holding the shattered pieces together. It's very pretty, but it's also quite profound. We purposely chose slightly flawed leather too--it has a shadow of a brand on the reverse cover and it's not perfectly cream and pristine either. If you believe you don't have to be perfect to be beautiful, that broken hearts can be mended with gold, that scars are the price of living, and that we're all a bit flawed, this might be your book. Also, it's really cute. :D 

• The cover is a hand carved, hand painted 3mm firm undyed veg tan leather.
• It has two internal pockets.
• It fits A5 size notebooks and inserts--A5 is 148 × 210 mm or 5.8 × 8.3 inches.
• The spine is 4cm or 1.5 ins. with 4 elastics. It'll hold 4 softbacks, or a thick hardback- and a softback-it's a slightly slimmer cut though still roomier than most! 
  
• Comes with two pink matching inserts, you choose the third!
