At Elrohir we nearly always use very solid, firm leathers--this one is different, it's soft, floppy, squishy and huggable and also the most lovely delicate pastel pink, blue and warm purple. Squash it and squish it, it's one for all you lovers of covers that really wrap and hug your notebooks. Like all soft leathers there's a bit of a fine art to setting up your book so it looks tidy (hint: Keep the elastics loose and REALLY stuff it) but though these might look girly, they're actually super-functional and hardwearing. Also, they are begging to be dressed up with lots of tassels, sparklies and charms!

The A7 is multi-coloured and has lovely secure pockets that would work well as card holders. The Pockets / Field Notes covers have three pockets, and are wide enough to be pretty secure if you want to use them for cash or cards too. They are all very stuffable!

Our entry-level, super value, really nice traditional soft leather covers. These are the Chocolate ones, in a nice mid-brown that is really scrunchable, ages and weathers wonderfully, and has a pre-distressed rustic finish. Expect speckles and colour variations, dark spots and lots of pull up (that's what happens when you fold it and the leather pattern changes). These are books you can get wet, chuck in your bag, or take hiking.
